"Edge of your seat romantic suspense"
Moving home to her father's ranch still didn't bring peace
of mind to Chicago ADA,Olivia Kincaid. She was used to
getting violent criminals off the street but, when a
physical attack nearly killed her it affected her
psychologically, as well. To make matters worse her
father,
a retired judge, was opening his ranch for a prison work
release program. Hank Elliot is part of the program and is able to freely
roam around the ranch. He is finishing up his sentence
for a crime he says he did not commit. As Olivia slowly
gets to know him she sees a decent and caring man
underneath his exterior. She is torn with her feelings as
Olivia's long time convictions brings her doubts. She has
always felt that these men wouldn't be in this predicament
if they were innocent. Their fragile relationshp turns to one of love. Hank's
feelings are torn because he knows that when he is
released
he will always be a convicted felon and will not have
anything to offer Olivia. Olivia is soon put to a test as to how deep her feelings
really are when he is a suspect in a local woman's murder.
How far will she go to help Hank and have they built
enough
trust in their relationship that Olivia believes he is
innocent? CONVICTIONS is a fantastic, fast paced read. Maureen
McKade has done a superior job in providing twists and
turns that keep you on edge, until the end. A true
romantic suspense with a blend of contemporary western
will appeal to readers of all genres. Don't miss this one!
