"He was looking for just one night"
Jamie has a very successful business working on expensive
cars for those who can afford it. He knows money can't buy
happiness but it can sure rent it for awhile. But Jamie is
increasingly finding these relationships lacking. He wants
what his former lover Ben has found, but knows that is not
going to happen for him. It has been two years since Ryan lost Mark. He still
misses
him, but when he meets Jamie at the restaurant he works
at,
he starts to feel a spark he hasn't felt since Mark's
death.
Although his mind tells him he isn't ready for a new
relationship, his heart tells him differently. Sparks fly when Ryan and Jamie finally get together, but
will Jamie ever be able to let go of his insecurities or
will they cause him to lose what could possibly be the
love
of his life? I became a fan of Stephanie Vaughn's when I read JUMPING
THE FENCE earlier this year and was anxious to read more
from her and CROSSING THE LINE is even better then the
JUMPING THE FENCE. The romance developing between Ryan and
Jamie is hot and sweet as they struggle to overcome their
pasts so that they can have a future together. If you are thinking about trying a non-traditional romance
there is nothing better to start with then CROSSING THE
LINE. The characters are real and are people that you
would
like to get to know if you met them in person. Barb Hicks

SummaryJamie MacPherson knows that looks aren't everything --
money counts for a lot, too. And that's a good thing,
since he's got none of one and plenty of the other. Money
may not buy happiness, but it'll sure buy you the kind of
misery you like best.
Ryan Van Alstyn knows that looks don't mean a thing when
your life falls apart and money can't bring a loved one
back.
When Jamie walks into Ryan's restaurant one night, Ryan
looks better than anything on the menu. Attraction leads
to sex. It could be more, but Ryan can't be bought and
Jamie thinks he has nothing to offer but his money.
There's a line between sex and love...
