"They were soulmates"
Apollo and his wife Mansi have been together for
centuries,
they thought nothing could be better than the relationship
betweeen them until they meet Ambrose. Even though Ambrose
is human, he is also very hot and would be a perfect
addition to their family. Unfortunately tragedy strikes
when Ambrose takes up with Dark Rhythm, a group of
vampires
out to destroy humans. He pays the ultimate price and
Mansi
and Apollo mourn for their loss. Now almost 200 years later, Dark Rhythm once again rears
its ugly head and bring Apollo and Mansi to New York.
Apollo agrees to one last mission to save an old friend
while Mansi waits for him at Burgundy Peak. When Mansi meets Huxley, she thinks for a minute that
their
dead lover has come back but she soon discovers that
resemblance is the only thing that Huxley has with
Ambrose.
Will Apollo open up his heart to once again make their
twosome become a threesome? I always loved Kate Hill's Dark Cravings series and this
book is no exception. Ms. Hill creates a world of
vampires who live by their own rules. Apollo is very much
an alpha vampire and when he falls in love it is forever.
Mansi is the love of his life but living through the
centuries he knows that you can have more then one
soulmate. When Ambrose dies, he closes off a part of him
that doesn't wake up again until he meets Huxley. Dark Cravings: Lust and The Damned does have homoerotic
love
scenes as well as menage scenes, which Kate Hill does so
well. I cannot wait to read the next book in the Dark
Cravings series. Barb Hicks

SummaryThe Ancient Vampire Apollo and his wife, Mansi, have loved
one another for centuries. When young Ambrose, a human,

zealot organization Dark Rhythm claims Ambrose's life. A
bitter Apollo forces himself to endure a painful exit

Rhythm.
While Mansi engages in healthy grieving for their lost
lover, Apollo retreats into himself. Mansi fears that her
husband is beyond help until Huxley enters their lives.
The young vampire reaches Apollo's frozen heart and
becomes the couples' adored third partner. But can they
really trust this young Vampire, when they know the
members of Dark Rhythm will never truly let Apollo go?
