REVIEW

"One last assignment"

Jessica is tired of the cop's life, coming from a long line of cops, including her father who is the town police chief. She decides to get a real job, with real clothes and becomes a realtor. When she arrives to show a prospective customer her property, instead of getting a commission she got arrested for prostitution by the newest cop on the force.

Conor Richmond has just arrived in town. He doesn't think his luck will get any worse after he arrests the chief's daughter as a prostitute, but when he finds out who his partner is he realizes it just did get worse. Conor knows that Jessica is a former police officer, but thinks she just did desk duty and left cause she was too soft.

Jessica alternates between wanting to throttle Conor for treating her like she is a wimp and wanting to jump his bones. Conor is the hottest thing to come into town, but her father's job is on the line with the string of robberies plaguing the town, and she will handle just one last assignment for him.

TEMPERATURE'S RISING by Karen Kelley is a funny, sexy romp between two strong minded individuals Jessica and Conor. You will laugh out loud at the way her father tries to play matchmaker. He is sure that Conor is the man who will make Jessica the perfect husband and give him more grandchildren.

I really loved TEMPERATURE'S RISING. I know you will be like me and will be unable to put the book down until the last page.
