Rosalind Rutherford is looking to cause a scandal and Armond Wulf looks like the perfect man to cause the scandal with. He and his brothers are rumored to be cursed with insanity and therefore not considered marriage material by members of Society. She is doing so in the hopes of getting sent back to the country where she was happy and away from her sadistic brother Franklin.

Armund is shocked when Rosalind makes it known she wants cause a scandal. Thinking she was put up to it as a bet, he almost lets his passions get away from him and seduce her anyway. Even though he and his brothers vow to never marry there is something about Rosalind that draws him to her.

When circumstances force them to marry, Armund makes it clear to Rosalind she may have his passion but will never have his love. Rosalind can live with that couldnt she?

THE DARK ONE by Ronda Thompson is the first in her Wulfglen series about a group of brothers who are cursed. The curse goes into motion when they fall in love, will Armond's determination be stronger then the feelings that he is developing for Rosalind.

THE DARK ONE is a great way to start off a new must buy series by author Ronda Thompson. Armond is very dark, and very dangerous but also very hot and Rosalind is just the woman who may just calm the beast that is inside him.

I know I won't be alone in anxiously awaiting the next installment of this exciting series.
