"Book #2 in The Gypsy Inheritance series"
The saga continues.......Passionata, daughter to the King
of the Gypsies, is bestowing another gift to one of
Lucille
Steele's decendants.With these gifts,three young men's
lives would change through the power of gypsy magic. Fashion model, Merrill Davis-Ross had to escape her high
profile life. The paparazzi was hot on her tail, yet again,
and she was tired of it all. She decided to "disappear"
and
re-invent herself. Partly, due to the media attention and
also, to find out if she could she could truly be liked
for
the person she was within. She creates "Merri Davis" and
takes a job in a small Texas town as a fund raising
assistant. Millionaire, Tyson Steele's magic gift from Passionata was
that of a mirror. When he looked into it he merely saw
glass but, the gypsy promised that the mirror will show
him
the truth if only he would believe. Granted Ty was rich in
money but, not in love and life. He had been hurt
emotionally several times in his life. One, of which was
losing both of his parents when he was a young boy. From
his
experiences, he can't afford to risk his heart again. As Ty and Merri build a working relationship it begins to
take on a more personal nature. But, Merri can't afford
for
anyone to get too close to her as it will blow her cover
and also reveal to Ty that she has been deceiving
him.Merri
soon finds that what her mind tells her cannot overrule
the
feelings in her heart. The big question is, since Ty hates liars and always
expects to be deceived in the end will Merri's true
identity put an end to their relationship? I have eagerly awaited this second book in Linda Conrad's
GYPSY INHERITANCE series. It was no surprise that I once
again was pulled in by her talent. REFLECTED PLEASURES
blends a contemporary romance with a paranormal twist.
I have read all of Ms. Conrad's backlist and she always
remains a favorite. I am looking forward to the third
and final installment.

SummaryTyson Steele's legacy is an antique hand mirror, but when he
first looks, all he sees is plain glass. Ty's Texas
billionaire world has been built around the way things look.
He sees himself as a self-made and rough-around-the-edges
man who doesn't care about his own appearance, but his most
important relationship was with the most beautiful woman in
school. His business has been built on refurbishing old
real estate and making it look new and beautiful. He sees
himself now as a benefactor, but he refuses to give himself
what he needs most. The gypsy's gift is designed to make
him see the truth. But will that be enough to give this
rich man his heart's desire?
