"The Easy Rider and the Rich Girl"

Tess March is driving down a deserted stretch of highway in Montana when she runs out of gas. It is dark and she has been dreaming about the jewelry she is planning to design. Now she is stuck in the middle of nowhere! Suddenly she hears the sound of a motor and a lone motorcycle rider comes into view. Dallas is planning to take her to the nearest town until his "friends" happen along. He is forced to abduct her and take her to their camp. Although Dallas thinks Tess is a beauty and he likes her spunk, he is dismayed to have to protect her as well as watch his own back. It has taken him a year and a half to infiltrate the gang of drug runners and white slavers.

Tess has no way of knowing that Dallas is really one of the good guys but she knows he has to be better than the terrifying Snake or Bogen. She wants to escape but Dallas keeps her shackled when he is away from his cabin. He finds it difficult to keep his distance as his attraction for her grows. The FBI finally get there to arrest the bad guys but when Snake and Bogen escape, Dallas (Grey) is back to help Tess.

LONE RIDER is Lauren Bach's first published romance. She has made quite a splash in the romance field with this adventurous tale. Although there is mayhem and murder, it is predominantly a sizzling hot romance between the handsome easy rider and the rich girl. She is attracted to the handsome Dallas in spite of herself. He is tough when he has to be but very gentle and protective with Tess -- a marvelous character. Bogen and Snake are very scary and portrayed very well. LONE RIDER is an easy and fast read because it moves along keeping the reader interested from the fast paced beginning to the adventurous ending. Good job, Lauren Bach. It's great to see another good romance writer on the scene.
