"Steamy reads for the beach"

BEACH BLANKET BAD BOYS is a six novella anthology featuring some old favorites and some new ones. Starting with Linda Lael Miller's BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED, Gayle Haynes left Parable, Montana after having her heart broken by local bad boy Tristan McCullogh. Now years later she is back to help with the sale of the bar her mother once owned and has no plans of getting involved with Tristan again, but Tristan has other ideas and he will do his best to convince her to give him a second chance. It had been a long time since I read Linda Lael Miller, but now with BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED, I definitely want to change that. I am not normally fond of stories told in the first person, but BATTERIES NOT INCLUDED drew me in from the beginning and had me forgetting that it was in first person.

Jax Stacey and Sarah Wade have been together for a long time. He has proposed to Sarah a few times but she has turned him down each time, why mess up a good thing with marriage? But things have changed and she has to convince Jax that she really wants to marry him cause she loves him and not because of the addition to their family, in SARAH SMILES by Alison Kent.

In SEDUCING TABBY BY Lucy Monroe, Tabby Payton is used to men asking her about her sister, she knows she is not the beauty her sister is, but try telling that to hunky Calder Maxwell. Calder is a mysterious stranger who has secrets, but it is no secret that he wants Tabby for his own and will do everything he can to convince her. He does it very well too.

In Captivated by Jill Shalvis, just months shy of her final divorce papers Ella Scott still has feelings for her ex. But her ex got tired of rescuing her from all the scrapes she gets into, but when James walks in on her in their cottage handcuffed to the shower door he knows things haven't changed. Now Ella and James have one more chance at making their relationship work. I love Jill Shalvis books and I was so happy to see that she is with Brava. Captivated was very funny as well as sexy.

In Susanna Carr's Sister Switch, Tracy Park gets her twin sister to switch places with her at her wedding rehearsal with Devlin Hunter. Although she is scheduled to marry Devlin, Tracy cannot get one man out of her mind the best man Nick Taggart. Sister Switch is a twins story with a twist and have you wondering how Tracy will get out of the predicament that she is in.

In Morgan Leigh's Spencer For...Ever, Kip knows that Arden is back in Cape Cod. It has been years since he last saw her and he has no intention of getting involved with her. Arden has returned to Cape Cod to start her life over, a life that includes Kip and she must do her best to make him put the past behind them so that they can have a future together. I love reunion stories and Ms Leigh does an awesome job of it.

Beach Blanket Bad Boys is as steamy and hot as the summer and is great for reading at the beach, the pool, but I highly recommend in front of an air conditioner, with ice cold drink on hand. You will need it.
