Damian Marquez has always wanted Lia. Ever since he first
saw her when she was sixteen, he could never get her out
of
his head. Now Lia has come home from the US with her young
daughter, and if anything Damian wants her more. Returning to her grandfather's home after being away for
years was not easy for Lia. Her grandfather never fully
accepted her marriage to the American and her decision to
live in the States. Now she returns, not for herself but
her young daughter who has a potentially serious health
problem. The only way her grandfather will agree to the operation
her daughter needs is if Lia agrees to marry Damian.
Although she is attracted to Damian, she knows there is no
future in a marriage between them. She knows that as soon
as Damian finds out her secret that he will dissolve the
marriage or will he? BLACKMAILED INTO MARRIAGE is the latest Harlequin Presents
from Lucy Monroe. Ms Monroe takes a potentially
depressing
subject and makes it the total opposite. While Lia is
convinced that Damian won't want her after he learns of
her
unique condition, he convinces her that he isn't going
anywhere. BLACKMAILED INTO MARRIAGE is a wonderful, feel good book
that will leave you with warm fuzzies after it is over. I
loved this book so much, I think I will go and read it
again. Barb Hicks
