"An intriguing story"
For those of you who enjoy Intrigues, Jacqueline
Diamond writes some of the best. This one keeps the
intrigue up from beginning to end. I was totally stumped
as to who the villain was throughout the entire book!
Those to me are the most enjoyable books! I find books
that I cannot easily figure out are the best ones to read. This book tells us the story of Nora Keyes, bomb
squad expert. It seems there's a serial bomber out there
and it's up to her to figure out who it is. She is made
to team up with Sam Prophet, an arson specialist, the bane
of her existence when it comes to light that the serial
bomber she is investigating and the arsonist that he's
investigating may be one and the same. At first it looks
like this person is targeting random people but once Nora
and Sam start digging, they find some interesting
anomalies. Can they tie it all in together before someone
else is targeted? It doesn't help that Nora and Sam are worlds apart
but are definitely attracted to each other. Nora thrives
on danger and excitement and Sam is more careful and laid
back. Sam is also a take charge type of guy who wants to
keep those close to him safe. Nora will have none of that.
Still there is this attraction.... I've enjoyed every book I've ever read by
Jacqueline Diamond and I've been reading her books for
years and years. I look forward to many more years of
enjoyable reading from Jacqueline Diamond.
