REVIEW

"Searching for her cousin's killer"

Jessi Tanner has come from Mississippi to New York in search of her cousin Molly's killer. She ends up in a world totally unknown to her, the goth world of vamps and witches and very attracted to vampire Drayden Maslow, who knows who the killer is but will not betray him.

Jessi enlists the aid of witch Konstantinos but he is unable to protect her from her feelings as she craves Drayden in a way she never has craved another man.

Sheri Gilmore takes you into the dark world of people who lived in the goth world, those that are real vamps and those who are wantabe vamps. MASLOW'S NEEDS is highly erotic, Drayden and Jessi literally sizzle whenever they are together. I certainly hope to read more of this goth world and cannot wait to see what else Sheri Gilmore has in store.

Summary

Want to know the real truth about vampires? Homicide detective Jessi Tanner thinks she does, when a young woman turns up dead in her Mississippi town. But then she meets Drayden Maslow, a man who purports to lead a community of vampires. A man who she is drawn to psychically and sexually against her better judgment. Drayden is a Sanguinarian Vampire, fighting his basic needs for blood and sex. He's determined to protect his people from discovery, at the same time as he protects Jessi from the killer. But he craves Jessi's 'chi'. He needs Jessi. Thrown into a world of vampirism and witchcraft, Jessi seeks the help of renowned Dark Neopagan Konstantinos, and while he teaches her protection spells against the evil she seeks, he cannot protect her from her own basic needs... or her attraction and addiction to Drayden.
