"From Courtesan to whore"
Silken is a widely regarded courtesan, he has serviced
many
women/men throughout his career, although he preferred
women he provided the highest pleasure that money can buy.
But he is stunned when the owner of his house has lost him
to pay off a gambling debt and he is now working for a
house where he is downgraded to that of a whore and where
he must only service men. Silken gets more then he bargained for when he is summoned
to be with Nananashi, a Nightwalker for an entire night.
He
finds himself very much attracted to the vampire and eager
to see him. When the Nightwalker offers him everything he
desires will he take the risk to accept it? FREEDOM RISING by Willa Okati is awesome an absolute page
turner. I loved Silken and even though he was brought to
a
lowpoint in his life, he did not let it get to him. I
would love to see more of this world from Ms. Okati. Barb Hicks

SummarySilken, a courtesan in the house of Mama Luck, has
everything he could dream of. High enough rank to pick and
choose among the finest ladies and gentlemen in the land,
servants of his own, and almost enough money to buy out
his contract and start his own House of courtesans.
However, all that falls to wrack and ruin at the turn of a
card. Lost in a bet to the greedy, stingy Illia, keeper of
a house of men, his rank and privileges are gone in an
instant. He is reduced to the lowest of whores, and to his
horror is even ordered to service Nightwalkers --
vampires.
Despite his fall from grace Silken retains his sense of
honor and meets with his first Nightwalker, a creature
named Nanashi. He doesn't expect the Nightwalker to be
more gracious and kind than any mortal man he's met, nor
does he imagine that he might fall in love with the dark...
