"Married In name only..."
When Xander Pascalis gets word that his wife Helen was
hurt
in a car accident he immediately arrives at her side. It
has been a year since they were married but they have yet
to
consummate their marriage. Due to the misunderstanding on
their wedding night, Xander and Helen have led separate
lives but Xander wants this marriage to be real in every
way. Helen was tired of living in the prison that Xander had
her
in the past year. Finally deciding to leave him, she
doesn't make it when her car crashes into the tree. Now
Xander is making demands and despite the doubts she has,
Helen doesn't want to fight her attraction to Xander any
longer. Helen and Xander must put aside assumptions about each
other they believe to be true in order to make this
marriage work. But will they be able to? I found myself unable to put THE PURCHASED WIFE by
Michelle
Reid down. From the beginning, packed with seductive
chemistry between Xander and Helen, these two are
combustible when they finally get together. I loved every
second of this book and know readers will as well.
