"A fabulous debut!"
Debut author Beth Cornelison couldn't have written
a better first book. It had all the ingredients for a fast
paced exciting read. It was practically a one sitting
read for me. Two years ago Cal Walters shattered Libby Hopkins
heart into a million pieces when he broke up with her in
order to marry a former girlfriend who informed him that
she was pregnant with his child. Then Cal really messed up
when he was sent to prison for battery and assault for
trying to defend a woman from a bully. Now Cal is out of
prison and trying hard to get custody of his daughter from
his druggie ex-wife. Cal comes to Libby with a proposal of sorts. He
wants Libby to marry him in name only just so they can get
custody of his daughter Ally. Libby still has feelings
for Cal even though she doesn't want to admit it. Her
heart melts when she finally meets adorable Ally so she
agrees. What Cal doesn't know though is that Libby is
being stalked. Can he keep Libby and his daughter safe
from danger? I enjoyed this debut book so much that I know I
for one will be looking forward to more books from Beth
Cornelison. I eagerly look forward to what else is in
store from this fabulous author.
