"An absolutely exceptional read!"
Though only thirty-years-old, Jodie Nathan's life has been
filled with all sorts of responsibilities -- the raising of
a teenager, for one. One mistake made while in high
school led to her pregnancy and eventual opening of her
café and crafts shop in the small town of Pleasant
Valley. After all these years of abstinence, comes a man
that makes her weak in the knees -- and she fights her
feelings with everything she's got. Jeff Davidson, the one-time Pleasant Valley bad boy with
no mother and a drunken, mean father returns to the town
that shunned him to follow his dream. After inheriting
his father's farm and money from a fellow Marine who died
while on duty in Baghdad, he decides to build a reform
school for boys who aren't so unlike what he was at that
age. He intends to teach them what the Marines taught him
and boost their self-esteem. With the help of his fellow
ex-Marine friends, Jeff resurrects the farm into a working
tour de force. It has everything it needs except Jodie
Nathan. Jodie was the one girl in high school that would smile and
say hello to Jeff. He never forgot that or her. When he
learns she has a rebellious teen on her hands, he offers
her his strength and wisdom. But, Jodie fears her
daughter getting involved with the troubled boys at Archer
Farm. Despite her concerns, Jodie agrees to hire some of
Jeff's boys to bus tables and makes a deal to buy farm
supplies from Archer Farm making them business partners. The big question is can Jeff and Jodie make it work with
all they have going on around them? I won't ruin the read
by telling you too much. You'll just have to pick up this
exceptional book and read it for yourself. Remember, Jeff is every woman's dream man. He's tough,
he's rugged and he's a warrior ex-Marine who is
intrinsically good. His caring heart and gentle ways make
him a man that no woman in her right mind would refuse or
ever let slip through her fingers. But, Jodie has every
reason to be cautious. The saying, 'Once burned, twice
shy,' is her motto for life. She's a real life heroine
that women can look to as a role model. No matter how
difficult things become for her while raising a turbulent
teen, she stays steadfast in her role as a loving mother.
She also lets down her guard and has a compassionate
streak where Jeff is concerned. She remembers what he and
what his life were like all those years ago, and she's
amazed by the man he's become. ONE GOOD MAN is the
perfect title because while reading this story all you can
wonder if there really is a man like Jeff Davidson out
there. And, of course, there are many. But, in this
story, you'll "suspend judgment" and believe he really is
the only one -- at least for Jodie.

SummaryA Good Man Isn't So Hard To Find...
Unless, as Jodie Nathan believes, that "good man" could lead
to a broken heart. After all, Jodie's only experience with
love had resulted in a pregnancy at the tender age of
fifteen. Now, as the single mother of one rebellious teen,
the last thing Jodie needs is to get involved with reformed
bad boy Jeff Davidson. But not only is Jeff a former marine
who has endured his share of pain, he's more sexy and
compassionate than any man who's ever graced her doorstep.
Can Jodie overcome the lingering pain of her past and risk
giving Jeff the gift of a shared future?
