"A fabulous futuristic!"

C. J. Barry's futuristics just keep getting more and more 'edge of your seat' exciting. It is hard for me to figure out which one is my favorite because they just keep getting better and better.

In this book we are given Torrie Master's story. Torrie is Zain's (from UNLEASHED) sister and unfortunately she not only has six brothers but she's the youngest. Her brothers only want to protect her and keep her safe. It drives Torrie batty. On a routine mission, it looks as if Torrie's ship is going down. She decides if it does she'll go with it. Much to her surprise, as soon as her crew left the ship, everything all came back on board. Then Torrie realizes that pirates have boarded her ship. They take one crate but it is a crate that she put a tracer of her own design on. She decides that she and her crew will follow the shipment and figure out how to get it back.

What Torrie doesn't plan for is getting caught. Now she will do about anything to survive but this pirate whom everybody calls Ghost Rider is more than what he seems. Can Torrie figure him out?

Qaade Deter will do anything to keep Slipstream going. He doesn't count on Torrie and her determination to see justice done. There's no way Qaade can give her the shipment back. He needs it desperately for the slaves who he has saved but who have had their memories wiped clean or scrubbed. Can Qaade get Torrie to help him? Only time will tell.

The action never let up in this phenomenal futuristic romance. The interaction between Torrie and Qaade was interesting to watch play out. It is my fervent hope that C. J. Barry will keep writing futuristic romances for a long time to come as I believe I will never get tired of reading them.
