"Mega Hot! A passionate sizzler!"
Zebra Books
In this wonderful story set in 1888 London we meet Molly
Riordan, Irish maid to the very spoiled Lady Elizabeth.
When Lady Elizabeth becomes pregnant after a one-night
stand with a green-eyed American, Molly accompanies her
employer to Colorado so that Lady Elizabeth can marry the
father of her unborn child. Molly also has hopes of
finding her missing father who was last known to be in
Colorado. Along the way the carriage they are traveling in
is held up, Molly is injured and Lady Elizabeth is
kidnapped and held for ransom. Molly ends up in the house
of Dirk Ballinger, Lady Elizabeth's fiancee, and looks into
the eyes of the outlaw who attacked the carriage. Or is he? Dirk Ballinger is determined that there will be no more
bastards born to his family so agrees to marry Lady
Elizabeth even though the true father is his half brother
who impersonated him in London. Thinking Molly is really
Lady Elizabeth, Dirk marries her posthaste upon her arrival
only to find out later her married the wrong lady. He is
also disconcerted to find out that Molly doesn't trust him
and thinks he may be the kidnapper himself. Keeping the
fact that Molly is not really Lady Elizabeth a secret, Molly
and Dirk join forces to search for Lady Elizabeth. As they travel through the Rocky Mountains, love blossoms
between Dirk and Molly. Will Dirk choose love over a
promise? Will Molly let guilt in loving another woman's
fiancee keep her from finding happiness? And does Lady
Elizabeth really want to be found? Mega hot! In this passionate sizzler Ms Stover once again
shows she is a master storyteller in the historical genre.
Wonderfully describing the sassy Irish nature of Molly, it
was a joy watching the two main characters interact as well
as watching the supporting characters also have a love
story. Lady Elizabeth grows on you and is quite a
character. Another keeper to add to all the other fantastic
books written by this author.
