"A fabulous book that I highly recommend!"
I have long been a fan of Greek and Roman Mythology
so when I found out that Kathleen Nance was writing a
series of books incorporating the mythological stories in
them, I knew they would be exactly the type of books I
would want to devour. I am happy to report that this is
exactly how I have been reading these fabulous books! This book incorporates the Myth of Callisto into
it. As a matter of fact the heroine?s name is Callie
Gabriel. Callie owns a restaurant in New Orleans and has
made the mistake of falling for an FBI agent, Armand
Marceaux. They had a one night stand and then Armand
promptly told Callie that he had been transferred to the
field office in Atlanta. Two months later, Callie goes to
Armand?s fishing cabin to give him the news that he?s to
become a father. Armand sneaks up behind her not knowing
who she is because he has amnesia. He doesn?t tell anyone
he has amnesia until he figures out what?s happened to
him. He has scrapes and bruises all over his body and it
looks like he?s been injected with some sort of drug. Of course Hera and Zeus have to get into the
picture. They don?t know whether they should let a
daughter of Callisto and a son of Ares fall in love or not
but this matter may be taken out of their hands. When Dion
Bacchus, or Dionysus, the god of wine is thrown into the
mix, things really get interesting. This book just whet my appetite for more of these
fabulous books in this wonderful series! I eagerly await
the next one. It can?t be published too soon for me!

SummaryCallie Gabriel, a fiercely independent vegetarian chef,
manages her own restaurant and stars in a cooking show
with a devoted following. Though she knows men only
lead to heartache, she can't help wanting to break through
Armond Marceux's veneer of casual elegance to the
primal desires that lurk beneath. Armond returns from an
undercover FBI assignment a broken man, his memories
stolen by the criminal he sought to bring in. His mind can't
remember Callie or their night of wild lovemaking, but his
body can never forget the feel of her curves against him.
And even though Callie insists she doesn't need him,
Armond needs her--for she is the key to stirring not only
his memories, but also his passions.
