"A HOUSE FULL OF FRIENDS"
Vonette Bright & Nancy Moser's final installment in the
SISTER CIRCLE series might be their finest book to date.
Once again we return to Peerbaugh Place where Evelyn is
once again looking for new tenants. Soon Piper will be
getting married and leaving to start a new life with her
husband Gregory; Margaret Jensen had felt the need to move
away from the area after breaking off her engagement and
now Lucinda has broken the news that she would like to
find
an apartment closer to her job. Before Evelyn can once
again start the dreaded chore of finding new tenants,
three
will unexpectedly fall into her lap. While I've loved
each
book in this series and felt a connection to each
individual character, somehow I found that this book had
the best mix of women yet. The charming part about each new book is not only seeing
what is taking place at Peerbaugh Place but also checking
in with all the old characters. Across the street just as
Mae and her dear husband have sent Mae's daughter out on
her own, her son will show up at her door with some
special
needs of his own. Can Mae's marriage survive another
child
and family moving in with her temporarily? Audra will find herself questioning her feelings for
Russell when she discovers news about their plans for a
family and laugh with Piper as she realizes just how hard
it is to fight those old familiar feelings. Before I give
anymore away, I'll sum it up by saying that as the weather
begins to show signs of warming up and the first leaves of
spring begin to appear, you'll want to pull out the
hammock
for the weekend and read the hours away with this book.
