REVIEW

"Passionate, sizzling, erotic anthology."

This is an erotica anthology. Each story is unique in style and concept except for the fact that each involves kidnapping or bondage within the themes. Though an interesting trio that mixes humor and passion, each story has elements of predictability that do not transcend the genre.

Ms. Kenyon's presentation is probably the most advanced of the three because of the backstory involved. This is possibly because it's a second installment in a short story series featuring the agents of "BAD" -- the Bureau of American Defense.

Ms. George's story tells of a bride whose ex-boyfriend, a football player, kidnaps her on the eve of her wedding to another man.

Ms. Black's offering is of a modern-day Viking who kidnaps a female U.S. Army officer when her plane crashes in the Arctic.

Despite unavoidable genre-related pitfalls, this anthology is an intriguing book to read because of the authors' different takes on similar themes. Of course, the word choice is passionate, the characters are sizzling and the plotlines are steamy.
