"Entertaining twist in chick-lit."
Poor Cupid! What has he done? Putting together two people
who are so not ready for each other just because he lost
patience with them? Look at what happens when Anna Munson
timidly agrees to a date with fellow co-worker, Nick Wells.
A little external conversation, a lot of internal
conversation on both their parts, then bam, Cupid loses it
and shoots Anna with the arrow of true love. What was Cupid
thinking? Now he's done it. He didn't get permission from
the big guy in the "main office" to hit Anna with that
specially reserved arrow. So now he has to find a way to
fix his little mistake before the big guy finds out. You know that story about a sticky ball rolling down a long
hill where all the yucky and bad things stick to it and the
ball keeps rolling, growing and growing and rolling faster
and faster? Yes, that's what Cupid has done to poor Anna
and Nick. I can't tell you what happens when that ball gets
to the bottom of the hill and a brick wall is there to stop
it. Cupid will have to tell you, and he does in this
refreshing take on true love and today's chance at love in
the dating field. Prepare to rub those cheeks after smiling through Ms.
Stingley's story. I'M WITH CUPID made me want to find Cupid
and give him a pat on the back. Life with Cupid in it is
truly never boring.
