REVIEW

"Best story so far in the Moon werewolf series."

Roy was dead. At least that's what everyone thought. Actually he was just a beat-up werewolf. Realizing he'd spent his entire life screwing up, Roy decides to stay dead. So he steals a car and heads for California. There, he becomes Sam Morgan, living off his investments by day and stealing ill-gotten wealth from shady characters by night.

Then he meets Olivia Woodlock while he's at a party in her family home. He's casing her father's pre-Columbian art collection. When he goes back later to steal the collection, she's waiting for him with a proposition: Help her steal a magic elixir that belongs to her family. Without the elixir, they will all die. Since the man who stole the elixir from Olivia's family is on his ne'er-do- well list, Sam agrees. But Olivia insists on going along on the mission and that's not good. He always works alone. If that's not bad enough, they're fighting a sizzling attraction for each other that they don't dare give in to. Then Olivia starts getting sick and time begins to run out for the couple.

CRIMSON MOON is my favorite of the Moon series. I loved the characters, the setting and the way the hero and heroine's relationship develops. Olivia's father was spot-on, indeed all the characters were very true-to-life -- even though this is a paranormal. I enjoyed it thoroughly and am hoping for another installment. A good read.
