REVIEW

"Wonderfully gripping Regency romance."

Lord Jonathan Devoran (Jack) St. George, the second son of Wylshy, was born with wanderer lust. His brief return to England is only to be long enough to regain the dragon's tooth and a quick visit home, then he's returning to India to finish what he started.

Miss Ann Marsh is considered a "plain Jane." The daughter of a minister and raised in the country, Anne is recently engaged and looking forward to becoming a wife and continuing her study of fossils.

During the mayhem of an incoming ship and being caught in a downpour, Anne is unaware of something being slipped into her basket. But when Jack arrives uninvited in the middle of the night at Anne's aunt's home, he quickly convinces Anne and her aunt she's in danger and must flee to his family's home for safety. But with Anne's curiosity of the male form and with Jack's belief that sexuality is natural, Anne is soon compromised.

What they don't know is that a love is brewing that's so consuming there's no way they can let each other go.

This is a wonderful story that has a bit of everything we all want in book. Definitely a good read.
