REVIEW

"Enjoyable installment to the Yellow Rose mystery series."

Abby Rose does not have a reputation for private investigative work -- she's too new at the game to hand out business cards where just her name is enough to get clients. However, Abby takes a case to find a biological mother before the young woman gets married. Hopes for the bride-to-be that her birth mother can be found and her adoptive parents told before her special day are dashed as disaster and murder make it a day the bride will never forget. The wedding reception proves deadly for the adoptive father, which sets off a series of events that bring to light just how strange this bride's family really is.

Abby refuses to give up. She's bound and determined to successfully complete her mission to find the missing mother and bring closure for the bride. Abby soon learns that one thing can have something to do with the other and she is not left off the list when it comes to murderers cleaning up their mess.

I enjoyed this new installment in the Yellow Rose mystery series. Abby Rose is a character -- charming, spirited, and certainly entertaining. I'd be delighted to revisit Abby Rose to see what her next case will entail. Ms. Sweeney has created an unforgettable sleuth.
