"Fantastic start to new paranormal series."

When a treaty deal goes wrong, Crusader knight Simon becomes a vampire in the midst of a bloody battle. After exploring Europe with his small companion and another vampire in a perfume bottle, he discovers the answers to his salvation may rest in a distant fabled castle guarded by a Black Knight. However, Simon is unaware that Isabel, the mistress of the castle, has prayed for a true Black Knight to guard her. Though steeling himself against the temptation her beautiful innocence presents, Simon finds it hard not to be distracted from catacomb crawling.

An auspicious start to a new series, MY DEMON'S KISS does a nice job of reinvigorating some standard characters of the historical romance genre by adding truly intriguing elements of horror and the supernatural.
