"Will the bad boy change his way?"
Psychologist Sara Davenport is grateful to her
publicist and one of her best friends for helping to make
sure her book becomes well known but when Karen books Sara
on radio show host and resident bad boy, Nick Davenport,
Sara just can't believe it. Nick is just the kind of man
that Sara warns her female patients to stay away from. Nick enjoys what he does and his agent is trying
to
get him a syndication deal so when Sara Davenport comes on
his show, Nick does what he does best. Sara feels like
Nick humiliates her and Nick can't believe Sara is such a
stodgy buttoned up prude. He bets that she's an entirely
different woman underneath all that starch. Then Sara gets a brilliant idea for her next
book.
She'll interview Nick and then refute everything he tells
her. Sara has an underlying reason for shooting down
all 'bad boys' and that's because her mother is the
perpetual rug for these kinds of men to the point where
she
drops everything to spend time with these sleaze-ball men
instead of her own daughter. Nick's parents are professors and his brother is
an
investment banker so Nick feels as if he has to prove
himself to them and getting his show into syndication will
do just that! He can't understand why Sara feels as if she
has to bust on him and his show. It's just all in fun,
isn't it? Then Nick and Sara spend some time in each
other's
company. They begin to see beyond their public personas
and find that each is an entirely different person. Still
they can't let anyone know that they are seeing each
other.
It would be the end of Sara's career for sure and Nick
likes to have fun too much. No settling down for him! Will
things change the more they are in each other's company? The further I read in this book, the more I was
pulling for Nick and Sara. I really wanted them to
overcome their differences. They just belonged together.
Jane Sullivan wrote a truly heart-warming story and one
that I thoroughly enjoyed!

SummaryPsychologist Sara Davenport wrote the book on bad boys.
Literally. When her publicist arranges for her to speak on
Nick Chandler's radio show, Sara quickly refuses. But
going head-to-head with the famous bad boy would be great
for sales. Besides, she can handle Nick, right? If she
could only stop wishing he'd handle her!
Sparring with Dr. Davenport has been great, but Nick wants
more. Yeah, he came on a bit strong when they first met,
but once Sara gets to know him... Of course, seducing the
woman who's sworn off bad boys would only prove to his
listenersand the uptight doctorjust how good
he can be....
