"Full of passion and delicious desire!"
There's something quite compelling about a tall dark and
gorgeous man who knows what he wants and never lets anything
stand in his way. That's just one of the things that makes
the hero, Sheikh Qasim (Caz) al Daud al Rashid, King of
Suliyam, of Sandra Marton's August 2004 release so
unforgettable. Caz hires her firm in the capacity of financial advisors to
help him bring Suliyam through some much needed changes but
just one look at Megan O'Connell, the woman responsible for
the plans he already approved, has him convinced he can't
afford to have her near him. Not when her very presence,
her scent, her every move reminds him again and again of
what it means to be a man, to completely possess a woman. He wants her. He needs her, craves her. She is lust,
passion, desire... and forbidden. However, despite his best
efforts to avoid taking her back to his country, that's
exactly what he has to do if his plans for Suliyam's
prosperity are to come to fruition. Spending days in close
proximity with her is torture but then Megan's well-being is
threatened and Caz has no option but to offer marriage. He
tells Megan it's a temporary arrangement until they're both
out of the sticky situation they find themselves in, but
does he really mean it? When it comes down to the crunch,
once he's had Megan as his wife, possessed her, will he be
willing to let her go? Sandra Marton's THE SHEIKH'S CONVENIENT BRIDE is full of
entertainment, passion and delicious desire. Put a dark and
dangerous hero and a fiery, feminine heroine together and
sparks and fireworks are guaranteed ~ and Ms. Marton
delivers all this and much more with unique flair and
talent. Within minutes of meeting her, Caz throws Megan over his
shoulder and marches out of the room! Be still my rapidly
thudding heart. I've got to say, that's one of the 'best'
scenes from the story for me. I loved it. How macho! How
immensely, unbelievably romantic! Especially considering
the smoldering glances they give each other before that.
Any reader who loves alpha heroes will love this book. Caz
is an alpha through and through. As always, Ms. Marton excels in weaving together a fast plot
and colorful, interesting characters. The descriptions and
flavor of Suliyam add an exotic feel, bringing the reader
into the story within the blink of an eye. Secondary
characters add depth and the dialogue is sharp and to the
point. For readers of Harlequin Presents and for those who just
love a good romance with an alpha hero who sets pages aflame
with passion just by walking across them, Sandra Marton's
THE SHEIKH'S CONVENIENT BRIDE is a tale not to be missed!
