REVIEW

"New beginnings"

When Caitlin James got into the limo with her other friends, after a night of partying she had no idea that her life was going to drastically change. In a horrible accident, Caitlin was declared dead, but she woke up 9 days later forever changed. How you might wonder? She woke up as a cybernetically enhanced human. Now this hairdresser, is supposed to work for this secret government agency called OSF, with the guy she dubbed The Boss.

Caitlin tells them in no uncertain terms, there is no way she is going to work for them and goes back to work at the salon that she owns in Minneapolis. Unfortunately someone is going around killing members of the Wagner team, the people who are responsible for her dramatic change. Caitlin goes looking for the rogue agent but finds so much more, namely Dmitri Novakov.

Dmitri is attracted to Caitlin, but determined not to act when he knows she is the killer. But when evidence proves otherwise, he can't keep his hands off of her. Caitlin and Dmitri make an awesome team, now he has to convince her to make it a permanent gig.

HELLO, GORGEOUS is classic Mary Janice Davidson, in that it had me laughing throughout the book. It is one of the most original story ideas I have read in a long time also. I was a fan of The Bionic Woman and so I loved Ms Davidson's take on what if it were to happen now? Dmitri is hot and the secondary romance between Caitlin's best pal Stacy and her boss, who she insults almost everytime she is in the same room with him is fun.

HELLO, GORGEOUS, also has the steamy love scenes, that Ms Davidson is known for. I certainly hope to see more of Caitlin, Dmitri and their friends. This has the makings of an awesome series.
