"Code Red miniseries continues"
Total Exposure is the latest book by author Tori
Carrington. Part of the Code Red miniseries, TOTAL EXPOSURE
tells the story of Courage Bay's Fire Chief Dan Egan and
Dr
Natalie Giroux. Dan Egan was injured in a warehouse fire a few months ago,
where he suffered a severe burn on his side. Rather then
going for followup checkups, being a typical guy he
decides
he will be alright, but it is not healing as it should be.
One reason for his reluctance is his unexpected reaction
whenever he gets around burn specialist Dr Natalie Giroux. Having lost his wife 2 years ago to cancer, he still is
grieving over the loss, but his feelings for Natalie just
may show that life does go on. Natalie is still grieving for the loss of her fiance a
year
earlier. Dying a few weeks before they were due to marry,
Natalie is feeling things for Dan that a doctor shouldn't
for a patient. When Dan doesn't show for his latest
appointment, Natalie decides to go to the firehouse and
check on him herself. During a big storm in Courage Bay, Dan is called out on a
rescue mission with Natalie following him. They end up on
a
island just off the coast of California when their
helicopter makes an emergency landing. Now Natalie and
Dan
are forced to confront the feelings they have for each
other. TOTAL EXPOSURE by Tori Carrington is one of the most
emotional books written by this talented author. Dan and
Natalie both must get over their grief before they can
move
on with their lives. Their is one scene in TOTAL EXPOSURE
that may have you reaching for a tissue. TOTAL EXPOSURE is a book that is definitely for one of
those chilly nights, curled up on the couch and drinking
some hot chocolate. Barb Hicks

SummaryFire chief Dan Egan pilots a helicopter with Dr.
Natalie Giroux aboard to make an emergency airlift. A full-
blown electrical storm hits. Lightning strikes the
chopper. An emergency landing is their only hope....
The forced landing strands Dan Egan and Natalie Giroux on
a remote island in Courage Bay. Being isolated with Dan
both frightens and excites Natalie. He's the kind of
stubborn, fearless man she tries to avoid, yet she finds
herself attracted. Maybe it's the brush with death...or
the way Dan is struggling with his own desire for her. But
she may as well admit itwhen their helicopter went
down, so did all of Natalie's defenses.
