"Latest installment of Quelgheny romances is delightful."
The latest installation in the romances of Quelgheny starts
with the dubious hero Allegro and his companion, Largo,
seeking to trap trolls in order to discover how to fix the
lock that had previously kept the trolls in their own
realm. Needless to say, Allegro was the one who had
destroyed the lock - a magical harp - in the first place.
However, in their attempt to save the world, Great Britain
and Jubilant, the country that floats above great Britain
(the country from which Allegro is exiled), they make an
even bigger mistake that has the potential to foul the most
precise of planning. Now, Allegro is breaking every one of
the Laws of Quelgheny to save his form-shifted friend and
to convince two opposing humans to fall in love - truly,
devotedly, forever - and to continue to save the world. Fans of the Quelgheny romances will be delighted by the
quick wit, artful description and speedy exposition of this
tale. Romance and fantasy fans will enjoy the blockades to
true love, the many musical puns and the magnificent
imagery. However, one might be best prepared by starting
with the first Quelgheny book because the beginning of this
one leaves the reader feeling he (or she) has stepped a
little too in media res to understand what is going on at
first. The author does a nice job catching the reader up to
speed, but in such a fast-paced world with a whirlwind of
excitement and adventure, not to mention zany characters,
one still might feel a bit addled in the beginning.

SummaryThose irrepressible pixies are back in a charming tale of
romance, adventure, and trickery involving one distrusting
duke, a lady who's not at all what she seems, and the
mystical Flower of the Heath.
Welcome to Quelgheny, where magic, laughs, and love abound.
Trust me -- you'll enjoy the trip and long to return.
