"Zany plot and hilarious characters."
Flip on your TV set, find the hottest, cutest woman
strutting the products on the home shopping network and
you've met Felicity Charm. She ditched a crazy family and a
background she's ashamed of and remade herself into a
modern, confident woman. But a car accident that sends her plunging off the road is
the beginning of the end of the world she's painfully
created. Rescued by Michael Magee, Felicity dumps her
persona for a night of wild passion, thinking to never see
him again. Uh-oh. She's pulled home by a family problem and finds
herself meeting her cousin's soon-to-be fiancé -- Michael. Suddenly, Felicity is questioning everything in her life.
And being around her insane family has her aching to run
for the nearest airport and reclaim the world she's hidden
herself inside. Maybe the image she has created isn't the
right place to be, after all. It definitely seems lonely
without Michael. Ms. Ridgway is just plain fun. Always. In the midst of her
zaniest plots, you'll find yourself falling for the
characters and laughing out loud. Felicity is one of those
uptight women with the wrong priorities who make me want to
shake them. Despite that, there's something likeable about
her character (maybe it's just her crazy family, all of
whom I relate to!). You'll enjoy this light read.
