"A fabulous debut book!"

Isn't it every woman's dream for a sexy hunky stone statue to suddenly come to life? That's just what happened to Katie James. Poor Katie has severe first date syndrome and when she is attracted to the stone statue in the garden of the Victorian house she's bought to restore, she know she's in big trouble. Still, all she can do is think about this statue. She always touches it and dreams about it. She even thinks it talks to her. How weird is that?!

One day she just can't resist and decides to just give the statue just one little kiss. Imagine how surprised she is when the statue suddenly comes to life and tells her he's an alien from another planet who had a stone spell cast on him. Now all he wants is for her to do is bidding. She has to love him and take him to a sorcerer. Katie can't believe the audacity of this guy!! Still there's just something about him that she is having a hard time resisting!

Take an overbearing alien and a woman who has been raised with five older brothers and throw them together and see what happens. It's not pretty! The adventures or should I say misadventures abound in this delightful and intriguing read. I know I didn't want to put this book down even for a minute! As much as I enjoyed this one, I'm chomping at the bit for another book by newcomer author Gena Showalter! She can't write fast enough for me!

Summary
