"Sizzling paranormal romance with lots of humor."
Whatever one's beliefs are about the post-death experience,
they usually don't include two bickering angelic figures
and a choice between a really long line or a chance to
learn a lesson. However, Lily Marquette gets just that when
her literal money-chasing ways hasten her departure from
this world. As expected, Lily chooses to try and change her habits, but
it's a tall order: She has to get pregnant and give her
money to deserving charities before her next birthday! Not
only is she going against her nature by giving money away
rather than chasing it, but she is part of an angelic
experiment in the rehabilitation business. A DATE ON CLOUD NINE is hysterical. Though the characters
are introduced almost as formulaic caricatures, once the
story gets rolling, they really fill out. A sizzling
romance with elements of a supernatural farce, this book is
a great way to forget all of your earthly problems.
