"An excellent end to this series!"
As much as I enjoyed reading Serena Farrell's story in THE
WRONG WOMAN, I was eagerly awaiting Serena's twin sister
Sarah Welch's story. I am happy to say it not only met all
my expectations but far surpassed them as well. This was a
much more emotional read than Serena's story though. Sarah is a counselor now but she still has a lot of baggage
from her ordeal and she is mortified to find that she's
earned the nickname of 'Colder than Ice'. Still she does
her best to help rape victims return to the real world as
nearly normal as they can. Daniel Garrett has always taken an interest in Sarah and
has watched out for her from afar. He knows she detests
him because of her fiancé Gregg's death at the hands of
drug dealer and slum lord Rudy Boyd. He knows Gregg's death
wasn't his fault but still he feels guilty about it. When young girls are raped and murdered using Rudy's
calling card of a syringe of heroin to the arm, Daniel and
Sarah have to work together especially when Sarah starts
receiving threatening notes seemingly from Boyd who is in
prison awaiting a death sentence. Can they figure this out
before it's too late for another young girl and what can
they do about their growing feelings for one another? This series of two books about twins was simply fabulous.
I thoroughly enjoyed both stories and eagerly look forward
to more stories from Linda Warren.

SummaryShe found her family...
Sarah Welch didn't know she had a twin until five years
ago, when a string of events led her through the seedy
underbelly of Dallas to the family she didn't know she had.
Sarah has spent those five years trying to forget what she
went through — forget the man who was gunned down, the
criminal she helped put behind bars, and the cop who saved
her life.
Now Sarah is in danger once again. And while this time
she's able to confide her fears to her twin sister, there's
only one person who can truly help her — Daniel Garrett,
the cop who never stopped loving her. Working side by side
to stop a killer, Sarah begins to accept Daniel as part of
her past. And as part of her future...
