"Fast paced romantic suspense series"
Eve Dallas is on the trail of a serial killer in this fast
paced thriller. This time she not only has the help of
her partner, Peabody, a psychic has shown up saying she is
seeing the killings as they happen.
The humor is sharp and snappy. The plot is dark and edgy.
Peabody has found her comfort zone with her new promotion
and with being an equal partner with Dallas. She is
coming into her own in this book and you can see her
growing. Dallas again deals with the issues of her
childhood and it is these very issues that help her to
understand the killer and stop him.
Roark is his usual sexy helpful self, adding just enough
to give the reader a breather from the killing.
Mavis is blooming and causing Eve more discomfort by
making her touch the bulge that is baby. Adding much
appreciated humor.
Friendship plays a larger roll in this novel than it has
before. This story is about the ripples that having
friend's makes in your life and how they can give you
support when you need it the most.
A must read for every J. D. Robb fan.
