REVIEW

"Full of action and adventure!"

Even though I have all of Lisa Cach's books in my huge TBR mountain, this is the first chance I've had to read one of her books. I picked a fabulous one to start with! This one has it all -- action, adventure, even a little "woo woo" mixed in!

Anne Hazlett is a simple lady's maid to the most spoiled young woman but Anne is on a mission of her own. She has a reason for coming in this voyage to India. She has been dreaming of this island where she is reigning monarch for years. What can this mean?

Horatio Merivale is on his way to rejoin his company after recovering from a chest wound. When the ship starts sinking during a storm, Anne's employer and her brother leave Anne to try to scramble to safety the best way she can. Horatio saves Anne from drowning and ties them both to floating debris. Soon they find three crewmen who have made a makeshift raft. There they float until pirates rescue them.

This is just the beginning of one long adventure after another. I cannot begin to describe how very intriguing this book is. I highly recommend this highly adventurous book. I will also be pulling all of the rest of Lisa Cach's other books out of my huge pile of books and putting them on the very top!
