"What a great sequel!"
Seanen has been serving Lady Lochinvar since he was
a child and she caught him thieving, now he is part of her
Honor Guard. He has no way of knowing he is about to be
picked for the hardest, most important mission he's ever
had. Yarwyn has been chosen to make sure the Orcs do not
attack innocent people on the tundra any more. She needs
one man to help her in this mission so she goes to his
guild and calls in a few markers. She's not prepared for
the man she secretly observes at Casandara and Makakao's
wedding. Will she and Seanen be able to perform the mission
for which they were chosen? Yarwyn and Seanen aren't prepared for the
spontaneous attraction they have for each other. Can they
work around this in order to perform their mission? What
will they do about this attraction when the mission is over? This sequel to A SLAVE'S PRICE is a completely
stand alone book but it is ever so much better after having
read the first book. I get more and more intrigued with
this world that Shelby Morgen has created with each book
that I read. I'm hoping she will have many more sequels to
this most amazing world.
