"Fast-paced, witty story with great characters."
Valerie Wagner is poised to launch the new women's
magazine, Glass Slipper, for a trio of eccentric middle-
aged women owners, known affectionately as the godmothers.
Valerie lucks out by landing the elusive bestselling, self-
help author Prince Charming (aka Eric Jermaine) as her star
columnist. But the blond, excessively handsome Eric has a
secret, and he's ready to drop the bomb. Valerie is devastated, until Eric introduces her to
ruggedly gorgeous Jack Lambert. Eric suggests that he
continue to write the advice columns while Jack acts as the
face behind Prince Charming. Valerie is convinced her
career is about to go down the toilet and the godmother's
money with her. As she works with Jack, whipping him into
shape, Valerie finds she's drawn by his smoldering looks
and his powerful embrace. Jack doesn't need a new relationship. His ex-wife ripped
his heart out when she left and right now he wants nothing
more than to pay a debt to his best friend, then get the
hell out of the country to do what he does best -- be a
sports reporter. These two must find a way to save the magazine without
destroying their budding romance. Ms. Kauffman writes a savvy, no-nonsense story with a
strong heroine and a sexy hero. Fast-paced and witty, this
story is a must-read that I highly recommend.
