Betsy is still the queen of the vampires and still the consort of Eric Sinclair, the gorgeous king vampire with the killer smile. Her house is termite infested, and she agrees to move to a huge estate across the street from the governor's mansion to keep from having to move in with Sinclair. Then she discovers the new place is haunted, Sinclair is spending more time at her place than his, someone has made it their mission to kill every vampire in town, and her boss expects her to sell truly magnificent shoes to undeserving people. It's almost more than a vampire queen can handle.

UNDEAD AND UNEMPLOYED is the hilarious second book in the Undead series by Ms. Davidson. Betsy is just as irreverent as she was in UNDEAD AND UNWED and she's still determined to give Sinclair the cold shoulder. The vampires she rules over continue to turn to her as their queen, whether she wants the job or not. This is one of the funniest, most satisfying series to come along lately. If you're fans of Sookie Stackhouse and Anita Blake, don't miss Betsy Taylor. She rocks. An excellent read!
