Captain Trieka Cavendish expects the presence of the powerful billionaire financier, Harrison Fairfax, to be nothing short of trouble. As the journey continues and their relationship grows, Fairfax discovers a growing plot within the EarthFed organization, one that will not hesitate to kill anyone in the path of its ultimately powerful hold on the universe.

Physical attacks, kidnapping, torture, and otherworldly appearances of Fairfax's wife, all contribute to a quick- paced, tension-filled plot that keeps the reader rapidly turning the pages to see how this mysterious conflict is solved and what the future holds for the passionate relationship between Fairfax and Trieka.
