"Hot, Otherworldly Romance!"
Captain Trieka Cavendish expects the presence of the
powerful billionaire financier, Harrison Fairfax, to be
nothing short of trouble. He, on the other hand, has a dual
mission, one of which is to explore an investment in the
earth colony of Denahault but the other and most important
one is to investigate the mysterious disappearance of his
now dead wife. Trieka is quite disarmed, indeed even flustered, by the
unassuming manner of this man with whom she was prepared to
do battle. His presence brings the most alarming sexual
thoughts and later dreams into her psyche. This is the
unexpected battle in which she must engage while trying to
professionally direct the journey of Starchild. As the journey continues and their relationship grows,
Fairfax discovers a growing plot within the EarthFed
organization, one that will not hesitate to kill anyone in
the path of its ultimately powerful hold on the universe. Physical attacks, kidnapping, torture, and otherworldly
appearances of Fairfax's wife, all contribute to a quick-
paced, tension-filled plot that keeps the reader rapidly
turning the pages to see how this mysterious conflict is
solved and what the future holds for the passionate
relationship between Fairfax and Trieka. Great story, Ms. Knights! Reviewed by Viviane Crystal on June 20, 2004

SummaryWhen billionaire financier Harrison Fairfax boards the
EarthFed starship Starchild, Captain Trieka Cavendish knows
he'll bring trouble. Earthlubbers always do. But she has no
idea trouble will come in the form of a vast government
conspiracy that will turn her whole world upside down.
Harrison Fairfax has spent the past seven years trying to
find out what happened to his wife, an investigative
journalist. But his wife's disappearance is only the
beginning - and the rest is much, much worse - as he
discovers a conspiracy reaching to the highest echelons of
EarthFed.
On to his meddling, government strongmen drive Fairfax and
Cavendish into the wilds of the colony planet Denahault,
where they discover even more secrets - and a passion for
each other that may be the only thing that can save them.
