"A night to remember!"
Ashlyn and Kye were happily married when Kye gave Ashlyn a
night she'll never forget. He gave her a fantasy she
wanted but was too timid to verbalize. Ashlyn wanted to
have a threesome! But not with a stranger. With someone
they knew but yet would never see again! A pretty tall
order! One night she came home from work to find Kye packing a
suitcase. He had made arrangements to spend a night at a
country inn. Imagine her surprise to find an Irishman
(Connor) join them in the room. He was Kye's oldest friend
living in Ireland. What followed was a night of pure
unbridled sex. Unfortunately Connor had fallen in love
with Ashlyn the first time he had seen a photo of her.
Connor found it hard to leave the next morning. He was in
love with his best friend's wife! Three years later Kye is dead courtesy of a drunk driver!
Ashlyn is devastated. Connor shows up to pay his last
respests. Connor supported Ashlyn in any way he could.
Except taking her to bed which was what he really wanted to
do! Kye decided it sucked being dead. He could see, smell and
hear Ashlyn but he couldn't touch her. There was a barrier
between them. It killed him to watch Ashlyn grieving for
him and not being able to do anything about it! He just
wished Connor would take Ashlyn to bed and help her heal.
He is tied to her as long as she refuses to let him go. This is a short story that is mainly sexual in nature with
a love story thinly woven through it. There is very little
plot to it. It would have been a good story if the plot
had been more fleshed out. The characters were likable and
they interacted well together If you want a story that's
titillating then you'll like this one. Reviewed by: Sophie Murphy
