"WILD"
Zane Winston enjoys all the benefits of single life. He is
the last of his brothers to remain single and is determined
to avoid the curse. Even though his brothers were happy,
Zane is determined that he will remain single. All his
plans are put to the test though, by the beautiful woman
who owns the business next to his. With her long, dark
hair and dark brown eyes, she has been invading his dreams
for weeks now. He is sure he is dreaming though, when he
hears her come up to him and utters three magic words, "I
want you." Fighting his attraction, he says no and soon
regrets his quick respone and decides to go over and talk
to her. He is taken aback by the for sale sign he sees in
front of her business. Tamara Tremayne owner of the New Age store decides to act
on her attraction to the man every woman in town wants.
Combined with a struggling business that she may be forced
to sell and a journal she found in a box she bought at an
estate sale, she makes the decision to go for it.
Disappointed by Zane's rejection, she is stung trying to
think of another plan when Zane shows up at her door. Tamara, having been raised by her aunts and uncle, is
considered the white sheep in the family. They are
convinced that her problems are from an uncle that died and
who is trying to get even for not being warned of his
death. Zane, having been raised by his brothers, is
determined to protect her and even calls his cousin Joe to
help find out who is trying to harm Tamara. Wild is the long awaited sequel to Lori Foster's infamous
Winston brothers series in earlier anthologies, which will
all be released in December (The Winston Brothers). This
book is everything we have been waiting for. I loved
watching Zane try to fight the Winston curse as much as his
brothers did. We also get to meet Zane's cousin Joe who
is even worse of a ladies man than Zane was. Joe is hot
and as Lori describes it, his sex appeal comes out in
chunks. Tam's relatives are kooky, but lovable. Reading Wild is hot enough to melt the snow outside and
make you turn on the air conditioner, but it also has
Lori Foster's trademark humor. It also shows that she has
talent for writing suspense as well. I recommend this
book very much, and know that you will love it as much as I
do. Barb Hicks

SummaryZane Winston is used to fielding women's not-so-subtle
advances. But he's still shocked when an exotic gypsy
whispers some very suggestive words in his ear - and
surprised to find that he's aroused by her words rather than
amused. After all, she's not exactly his type!
But he soon discovers that Tamara Tremayne's not really all
that exotic. Her so-called psychic powers are (mostly) made
up. Her waist-length black mane is a wig. And underneath the
witchy makeup is a very stubborn, seductive woman - who may
be in very serious danger...
Tamara refuses to accept Zane's help - but he's still sure
she's the woman for him. She may not be supernatural. But
she's sassy. Sexy. And totally wild ...
