"A Most Fabulous and Romantic Time Travel Romance"
Katherine St. Clair's grandmother had given her a set of
beautiful earrings with cairngorm stones set in them. She
also persuaded Katherine to go and visit Castle Duncreag.
The strangest thing happened to Katherine there. One night
she was sleeping and was awakened by some noise. She walked
into the next room and discovered a man. She fell instantly
in love with him and they spent the night together. The
next morning near dawn, she woke up and was so embarrassed
at what she had done with a virtual stranger that she left
him sleeping and went back into her room. Now eight years
later Katherine still cannot get this man or this night out
of her memory. She's even dreaming vividly about him. In
one dream she discovers that his name is Iain Mackintosh.
Katherine feels compelled to visit Duncreag again to see if
she can discover exactly what all this
means. She pursuades her brother Jeffrey to accompany her
on her trip. This is just the beginning of a most fabulous and romantic
time travel story. I voraciously read this story in one
sitting. It hooked me from the very first satisfying page
and reeled me through to the very end. I eagerly look
forward to more offerings from Dee Davis. Kathy Boswell / February, 2001
