"A Sweet Romance with a Bit of Suspense"

Brynn Adler moves to the Hill Country of Texas to start a new life after her child and husband die. She blames herself for the death of her daughter but is surprisingly successful at helping distressed children. After her home had been broken into, her husband's cameras stolen and receiving unanswered phone calls, she is fearful so when her friend, Julia, offers her a home, she and her dogs move to the isolated ranch where she can find solace.

Jake and his wife have divorced and although he wants to be a good father, his daughter, Andrea, is drifting away from him unable to come to terms with her changed life. He seeks out Brynn and talks her into helping his severely depressed child. Healing comes in mysterious ways as Andrea changes back to her charming self and as Brynn finds healing in her own soul. Jake and Brynn find something special in each other as they clear up the mystery and fear that has tormented her.

FOR THE SALE OF HIS CHILD is a story about a family in trouble and finding help and love. Jake is a good man that must make serious choices between his career and family and ends up finding much more than he bargained for. Brynn tries to come to terms with her losses as she helps children that desperately need her and in so doing, helps herself as well. The book is mostly a romance with just a bit of suspense thrown into the mix to make a delightful and intriguing story by Bonnie K. Winn.
