"Sexy Vikings are also funny in this hilarious must-read."
Twins Toste and Vagn Ivarsson are preparing to do battle
with the Saxons of Britain when they walk into an ambush.
Each watches as the other falls under the sword. Toste awakes to find himself in the tender care of a group
of worldly nuns. One nun in particular finds the tall blond
Viking irresistible, albeit rather crude. Toste sets about
to seduce her, even though his big Viking heart is breaking
over his brother's death. His only comfort is a giant
Viking skald who survived the battle with him. Bolthor is
his name, and he recounts the sagas of Toste and Vagn with
great charm and wit. Vagn, barely breathing, with a vicious wound, is brought to
a Saxon household. If he survives, he'll make a
satisfactory husband for the Lord's daughter, Helga the
Homely. Helga has other plans and sets about to seduce the
Viking for the child he could give her. She's not
interested in marriage. Vagn is distraught over Toste's
death, but not so beaten down that he can resist a naughty
virgin who'll do just about anything to get in his bed furs. Ms. Hill writes with a keen knowledge of male sexuality and
what goes on in the hero's mind. These two Vikings are
hilarious, sexy and full of confidence. This book is laugh-
out-loud funny and a must read.
