"Chillingly graphic - romantic suspense at its best."
Lindsey Metcalf knows her sister, Traci, is in trouble
after listening to the message Traci left on her answering
machine. Wrought with nightmares, Lindsey leaves Ohio for
Seattle to check on her sister. The more Lindsey searches, the more she realizes she really
has no idea of the life her sister has chosen. Finding a
private investigator's business card among her Traci's
things, Lindsey goes to his office and asks for help. He,
like the police, thinks Traci has skipped town to avoid a
warrant. Lindsey calls him a loser and leaves. Michael Striker is attracted to Lindsey the moment she
enters his office. But Striker thinks she's a reporter who
wants an interview. He had enough of the media's attention
when he was awaiting trial for almost killing a man while
still a police detective. Lindsey's scathing retort when
leaving his office has pricked his conscience. He knows he
must help her. Ms. Castillo weaves a tale of an illicit world among the
elite and the strength and conviction of a woman searching
for her sister. Through Lindsey's conviction, Striker is
able to hold his head high and have faith in a future. FADE
TO RED is a chillingly graphic depiction of what could
happen to a young woman and to those who put themselves in
harm's way to find the person they love. This is a great
romantic suspense you're sure to enjoy.
