"The awesome sequel to THE DUMONT BRIDE"
This is the sequel to Terri Brisbin's debut Harlequin
Historical THE DUMONT BRIDE. Terri takes the villain
William de Severin and turns him into the hero in THE
NORMAN'S BRIDE and what a wonderful job she does! William is now called Royce and he has served Lord
Orrick these past three years since he 'died'. Lord Orrick
and his lady wife Marguerite have asked no questions and
Royce had made no explanations. Royce finds a nearly dead woman close to his
cottage and calls for Wenda the healer to save her. The
woman is so badly hurt that Wenda can't promise anything.
She says only time will tell. Royce decides to make it a
personal goal to do everything in his power to save this
woman for reasons unknown even to him. The woman flows in
and out of consciousness for days and only responds to a
soothing voice, Royce's voice, though she doesn't know
this. When her fever finally breaks and she regains
consciousness, she finds that she doesn't know who she is
or anything about herself. Royce gives her the name
Isabelle. Isabelle is distraught that not only has someone
tried to murder her but she can't remember anything about
herself, not even her name. She only knows that Royce is
the kindest, gentlest man she's ever known. Still he has
his secrets and nothing could come of their attraction
anyway until she knows who she is. Even though Royce is reluctant he does everything
he can to help Isabelle discover who she is and why she was
attacked so violently. Lady Marguerite and Lord Orrick do
all they can to help Isabelle as well. Meanwhile, Royce and
Isabelle become closer and closer. What will come of it all? This intriguing book grabbed me from the start and
I had a hard time letting go of this story. I found myself
reading chapter after chapter every chance I got just to
find out what would happen next. I eagerly look forward to
THE COUNTESS BRIDE by Terri Brisbin to be published in June
2004.

SummaryShe had no past. He could offer her no future. Yet William
Royce de Severin could not quell the waves of desire
threatening to engulf him whenever he looked upon Isabel.
Battered by life, she remained unbroken in spirit, making
him yearn for the impossible — a life unfettered by his own
dark secrets, with her forever by his side!
Though recalling nothing of her own identity, Isabel was
certain her rescuer, Royce, had been a knight. Every fiber
of his being bespoke a chivalry simple seclusion could not
hide. And every sinew of his body bestirred a passion that
would rouse her to her true self as Royce's heart--sworn
lady!
