"A Terrific Read, an Unforgettable Story"

Wealthy Grace Hall has inherited her father's Foundation when he passed away. She is planning a huge money-making gala but is constantly undermined by her second in command as well as the caterer. Some of her society friends have been murdered in their homes and she is becoming more and more frightened that she will be the next victim. Trying to please her parents, she married a count but the marriage did not work out and she is on her way to the divorce courts as soon as she can figure out a way to tell her domineering mother.

When bodyguard, John Smith, sees the glamorous and beautiful heiress, he is knocked for a loop and when she hires him to protect her, he has quite a time keeping hands off. It is obvious that she is attracted to him as much as he is to her but John has a lot of control and knows that he has to concentrate on the job he has been hired to do. Besides, she comes from the high echelon of society while he comes from a poor and abusive home, totally different stations in life, but the attraction is very strong. As more of Grace's friends are murdered, she and John draw closer.

Sexual tension, sexual tension, sexual tension -- the book is brimming with it! Grace is a warm hearted and caring woman while John is a loner, a quiet man that keeps to himself and wants no part of a loving relationship. The reader can't help but want these two wonderful people to get together regardless of their differences. AN UNFORGETTABLE LADY is the first book that I have read by Jessica Bird but it certainly will not be the last one. She has written a terrific story that is stronger on romance than the suspense and one that romance readers will thoroughly enjoy. Some of the characters introduced in this book will have their own story in the next one so that is something to look forward to. AN UNFORGETTABLE LADY is an unforgettable story by Jessica Bird.

Summary
