"Another great entry in the Madaris Family & Friends series."
CIA agent Drake Warren prefers to work alone. Five years
ago, he went dead inside when he lost the love of his life
while they were on a mission together and he wasn't able to
rescue her. CIA agent Victoria Green has secrets of her own
that she must keep hidden. Drake and Victoria are called to
CIA headquarters and placed on assignment together, and the
sparks start to fly. Their assignment: rescue the
president's niece, who's been taken hostage by rebel
forces. Despite their reasons for not wanting to go on the mission
together, both put feelings aside to do the job. While
working together, Drake and Victoria learn that each has
experienced heartache in the past and their souls still
yearn for lost loves. Lurking in the shadows is an enemy who believes in an-eye-
for-an-eye and that Drake and Victoria must die. Using
their knowledge, wits and skills to stay alive, they must
confront this evil enemy. Only then can these two have a
chance at real happiness. This book is part of the Madaris Family and Friends series.
It contains danger, passion and suspense. An enjoyable
story, it's one that I'll add to my bookshelf. And I look
forward to reading other stories in this series.
