"Fun, sexy, highly interesting story."
Rachel Foster learned the destructive power of passion from
her father. He found her mother in bed with his best
friend, Thadd, and moments later, all three of them were
dead by her father's hand. She and her sister, Willow, were
devastated. Rachel cut herself off from all passion,
determined to never be out of control. But the house that she helped her father design for Thadd,
Sub Rosa, stands as a reminder of what happened. Rachel
loves it and hates it, too. Now, Thadd's heir is showing up to claim the home and
Rachel finds a hidden bequest from her father. More of his
secrets have her sneaking into Sub Rosa to return stolen
property - only to be discovered and chased in the dark by
the new heir, Keenan Oakes. This is one of the best books I've read in a long time.
Subplot on subplot keep it interesting, but ah, that Keenan
Oakes. He's hot and so is his merry band of men. Keenan is
an adventurer and travels with a group of men who work with
him. They're fantastic, and I hope they each get their own
story, as well as Willow. A fun, sexy read!
